Animal Hospital The Pet Oasis is located in beautiful Boulder City where history meets small town living. Famous for the Hoover Dam, built to support the Southwest, we are excited to be the leading veterinary clinic ready to serve with excellent care and compassion.
Dr. Sharon Brown was born and raised in the beautiful Island of Jamaica with her
parents and 6 siblings. As a child, she developed her love for animals helping on her
grandmother’s farm. As she matured, she realized that her interest was geared toward
the animal's health and well-being. It was her determination to make caring for animals
her life long career.
In 2013 Dr. Brown graduated with honors from the College of Veterinary Medicine at
Tuskegee University. After graduation, she moved to Las Vegas to practice Veterinary
Medicine.
Dr. Brown's professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry,
dermatology, as well as internal medicine. After working with the same veterinary group
for 11 years, she finally decided to step out on her own. Although Boulder City is new for
her, she feels welcomed and is excited to offer the same care and expertise to the city’s
furry babies and their owners.
Dr. Brown is the proud single mom to her two children Shari and Kaedon. Her
philosophy is to always believe in yourself and be determined to work hard for your
goals. She firmly believes that her faith in God, family, and her deep-rooted Jamaican
heritage made her the strong, dynamic and compassionate individual she is.
Dr. Ashlee Stanley grew up in the vibrant city of New Orleans, LA, where
her love for animals began. Surrounded by a variety of animals both at
home and at the New Orleans Fairgrounds Racecourse, combined with her
passion for science, Ashlee knew from a young age that being a
veterinarian was her calling.
Ashlee graduated with honors from Louisiana State University, where she
honed her skills and knowledge in veterinary medicine. Before attending
vet school, she was a Registered Veterinary Technician, a role that
significantly enhanced her clinical skills and provided invaluable
experience.
Ashlee is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of animals
and their families, ensuring that pets receive the best care and
attention they deserve.
Outside of her professional life, Ashlee enjoys exploring the outdoors,
baking, reading, attending concerts and festivals, traveling, and
spending quality time with her husband, son, and their four beloved
pets—two cats and two dogs.
